About Us

For over 12 years, RAS has delivered high quality industrial motion systems within the automation industry.  

The business grew and over time the demand for Servo and Motion system support.  We therefore focused on PLC control software development, in particular, automation system software solutions for multi-axis servo systems, as well as various Mitsubishi Electric PLCs and HMIs.
 
In recent years, RAS provided SCADA solutions, and has worked closely with HMS to deliver data gathering telemetry solutions.  This has been a growth area, with our customers also increasingly requiring database solutions and reporting services.  

The business has developed further through the provision of software solutions as well as electrical panel design and supply. Working with our partners RAS can provide solutions from simple automation software though to bespoke machine design. RAS continues to adapt and diversify with new hardware and the delivery of  new software solutions within the automation industry.

Lead by the two directors, David Ramsay and Elliott Coles, RAS continues to work closely  with key partners Mitsubishi Electric, HMS and Baumer to provide best-in-class automation solutions.
